Marguerite SEWOA-LAWSON

(Togo First) - Nana Benz, Marguerite Sewoa Lawson, is a contemporary figure of the once-famous women traders of African cloths at the Grand Marché of Lomé.

Founder of MANATEX establishments, she is the daughter of Manavi Sewoa Ahiankpor who is claimed to be the first African cloth merchant to ever buy a “Mercedes Benz”. As an early supporter of many socio-cultural events in the country (Miss Togo for example), she continues to multiply initiatives for women, youth, and children.
