(Togo First) - Youssef Ibrahimi has served as chief executive of Bank of Africa Togo (BOA-Togo) since August 2021. The Moroccan banker has spent most of his career within the BOA Group and its West African subsidiaries.

He joined the group in March 2009 at BMCE Bank, where he spent more than six years as Group Director. In May 2015, he moved to BOA Mali, serving first as Retail Banking Director and later as Deputy Chief Executive for Operations. In October 2019, he was appointed Director of Operations at BOA Benin, a position he held until taking over as chief executive of BOA-Togo in August 2021.

Since taking office, Ibrahimi has overseen a period of sustained growth at BOA-Togo. In 2024, the bank ranked third among Togolese lenders for its growth and overall financial performance. Under his leadership, BOA-Togo committed CFA2 billion to finance 100 Togolese entrepreneurs through the Meet Up project and signed several partnership agreements to support women entrepreneurs and promote agricultural mechanization.
