(Togo First) - Abdelouahed El Kiram is leading Banque Internationale pour l’Afrique au Togo (BIA-Togo) since November 2023.

A veteran banker within the Attijariwafa Bank Group, El Kiram was appointed to head BIA-Togo after serving as Chief Executive Officer of Crédit du Congo, the group's subsidiary in Central Africa.

Drawing on experience across several African markets, he now leads BIA-Togo's growth strategy, with a particular focus on financial inclusion, financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and support for large-scale projects that drive economic development in Togo.

Under his leadership, the bank aims to deepen its relationships with retail and corporate customers while strengthening its role in supporting businesses, entrepreneurs, and strategic investments across the country.

BIA-Togo is also focused on expanding access to banking services, promoting innovation, and enhancing the customer experience through digital transformation initiatives. These efforts are intended to reinforce the bank’s position as a leading financial institution and a key contributor to Togo’s economic growth.

As the banking sector continues to evolve, El Kiram's leadership reflects BIA-Togo's ambition to combine sustainable growth with a strong commitment to serving the needs of individuals, businesses, and the wider economy.
