World Bank to release next Doing Business report in the coming months

(Togo First) - As Togo’s business climate cell predicted, the Doing Business 2021 report should be released in a few months. The World Bank announced in a statement published on December 16, 2020.

The Bretton Woods institution said, “We will finalize the publication of the Doing Business 2021 report in the coming months.” The upcoming edition of the document will include corrections produced by the internal audit ordered due to irregularities reported some months ago.

Regarding the conformity audit, the Bank said, “We will review and discuss the findings of the various reviews in this and subsequent editions of Doing Business.” This audit, according to the head of the Togolese business climate cell, Sandra Ablamba Johnson, was focused on adjusting the scores of the following four countries: China, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Azerbaijan.
