International Cosmetics Arts Fair scheduled for July 2-4 at CETEF

(Togo First) - Togo's Exhibition and Fair Centre (CETEF) will host the inaugural edition of the Salon international des arts cosmétiques (SIARCOS), an international cosmetics trade fair, from July 2 to 4. The event is organized by the Association de l'épanouissement des jeunes pour le progrès en entrepreneuriat (AEJPE).

Held under the theme "Women's Entrepreneurship and Innovation for a Sustainable Cosmetics Industry in Togo," the forum aims to promote local value addition and support the development of the country's cosmetics sector.

According to the organizers, the event will bring together stakeholders from across the value chain, including producers, processors, researchers, dermatologists, laboratories, beauty institutes and owners of African cosmetics brands.

The objective is to encourage professional exchanges and identify growth opportunities in a sector benefiting from rising demand for products derived from local resources.

The program includes conferences, practical workshops, business meetings and trade exhibitions. Discussions will focus on raw material processing, certification standards, marketing strategies and access to international markets.

SIARCOS founder Mariam Christiane Amouzou said the initiative was launched in response to the need for a more structured and better-connected African cosmetics ecosystem.
