In only seven months of activity, Gozem totaled more than 100,000 rides in Lomé

(Togo First) - Gozem, the first taxi-bike and taxi-car reservation app in Lomé, has recorded since its launch in the city last November more than 100,000 rides. This was revealed in a statement from the startup founded by Nigerian Emeka Ajene.

We have developed a safe and afforable transportation mode which Lomé’s people enjoy using. We are proud of this and are now aiming for another 100,000 rides, a goal we will achieve by improving our service, making it accessible to more people,” says Jean-Martial Moulaud, Head of Gozem-Togo.

The firm adds that the performance reflects a growing number of the app’s users. Moreover, it attests of the reliability and safety of its services.

Let it be recalled that only two months after it had started operations in Togo, Gozem which initially offered taxi-bike (Zemidjans as they are known in the country) rides added car reservation to its services. Now, it announced it will soon expand to other French-speaking West African countries with Benin as its first stop this coming July.
