Togo's Fest'Immo SolarDayZ 2026 draws nearly 5,000 visitors

(Togo First) - The 11th edition of the Real Estate and Energy Fair, Fest'Immo SolarDayZ, closed on May 31 in Lomé, attracting nearly 5,000 visitors, according to organizers. The three-day event was held at the Centre togolais des expositions et foires (CETEF Togo 2000) and brought together stakeholders from the real estate, energy, finance, services and technology sectors.

The event also featured around 60 exhibitors, sponsors and partners who showcased their products and services and engaged with the public, investors and industry professionals.

Sustainable housing at the heart of discussions

Held under the theme "Rethinking Housing in Togo," the fair was officially opened by Meindou Lebigaza, secretary general of the Ministry of Land Use Planning and Urban Development (MATU), representing Minister Sevon-Tépé Kodjo Adedze. The opening ceremony gathered real estate developers, architects, renewable energy specialists, financial institutions and institutional partners to discuss housing challenges and the energy transition.

In his remarks, the MATU representative described the fair as "a timely platform for discussing the future of housing," stressing the need to promote more affordable housing, sustainable infrastructure and improved living conditions amid rapid urbanization.

Following the opening ceremony, Minister Sevon-Tépé Kodjo Adedze toured the exhibition stands to review innovations and projects presented by exhibitors in the housing, construction and energy sectors.

A business platform in a consolidation phase

Discussions focused on housing finance, the integration of renewable energy into real estate projects, innovations in construction and the use of building materials suited to local conditions. B2B and B2C meetings were also organized to facilitate exchanges between companies, investors and project developers.

For the organizers, the fair reflects growing interest among households and investors in housing and sustainable energy solutions.

"This edition confirmed the growing interest of Togolese people in housing issues, real estate investment and sustainable energy solutions," said Hodor Ayawa Abigaïl, the event's artistic director and communications manager.

The edition also marked a transition for Fest'Immo, with a new executive board taking over the organization of the event.
