Togolese government seeks firms to audit accounts of State companies in 2020, 2021, and 2022

(Togo First) - For the years 2020, 2021, and 2022, the ministry of economy and finance is hiring firms to audit the accounts of businesses, public companies, funds, or independent institutions that benefit from state subsidies. The related tender will close on August 14, 2020.

The audit is to check if the funds provided by the States to the aforementioned parties were used as intended.

Firms eligible to submit their bids to the tender must be accredited by the Togolese government and must have been regularly featured on the board of the National Order of Chartered and Accredited Accountants in Togo (ONECCA-Togo).

Indeed, after spending years in the lowest part of this ranking, the country now seeks to beat Rwanda which is the best performer on this index in Africa.
