Covid-19: From XOF700,000 previously, repatriated Togolese citizens must now pay XOF500,000 as costs of quarantine upon their return

(Togo First) - In Togo, quarantined repatriated citizens will have to pay XOF500,000, against XOF700,000 previously, to the State upon their return.

The government, therefore, takes care of the XOF200,000 difference during the 14-day period during which the returnees will be quarantined. The information was disclosed in a notice issued by the national team in charge of the covid-19 response on June 26, 2020.

Let’s recall that so far, about 340 Togolese citizens have returned home since the pandemic emerged, via special flights. Most of them came back from the Middle East, Switzerland, and Senegal.
